How long is the turnaround time to receive a kennel?

What is the difference between B&B and Rathman & Co kennels?
- Both kennels are made from real wood. B&B is made here in the USA. Rathman & Co is made in Mexico. Both come fully assembled.
- Both companies use the same locks and hinges.
- The cage dividers and feet used by both companies are both removable, though different feet are featured on different styles. R&C only comes with a solid divider.
- B&B is made by our shop in Colorado and ships fully assembled.
- R&C is made by an outside manufacturer in Mexico but also comes fully assembled
- R&C currently only comes in one size and has the same dimensions to our Large B&B Double Doggie Den.
- B&B specializes in custom orders, making any size, color, or shape.
- R&C is not customizable, but currently offers three color options.
- R&C ships in 5-7 days when items are in stock, while B&B ships in 10-12 weeks, as it is made from scratch, fully customized to your specifications.
When will I be charged for my order?
You will be charged directly after you place your order via the website.
What can I expect for shipping and delivery?
Shipping
Our kennels will ship fully assembled
Standard Curbside/Liftgate Delivery
Once your kennel ships we will send you a tracking number and the freight company will call you directly to set up and appointment once it reaches the destination terminal.
Delivery is made by a semi-truck with a liftgate attachment, dropped to the curb or end of your driveway. This service does not include handling into a garage, porch, alley, or home, so please plan on having someone present to help you unload the kennel, as they are heavy!
Though not standard protocol, there are times when drivers will help get your kennel into the garage. If the driveway is not accessible via 53′ truck, a white glove delivery may be required. Please inform us of any special circumstances, so we can accommodate your delivery needs. If we are not aware of special shipping needs up front you may be responsible for additional shipping costs the occur.
Additionally, we are happy to offer assistance in the hiring of white glove delivery if necessary, but it does require additional time and payment.
What pan size is need for my kennel?
All of our kennels are built to fit the standard dog pan that comes with the common wire crate. (Dog pan not included with purchase, but can be ordered separately or at the same time as your kennel.) We make our trays to the exact size of our kennel so that you can fit one on each side of the divider. Get yours here!

What is the kennel made out of?
Real wood! Our kennels are currently made out of Radiata Pine wood from Chile and rebar.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping is free for standard curbside/liftgate delivery anywhere in the continental United States. Hawaii, Alaska, and certain rural or limited-access areas may be subject to additional charges.
We offer international shipping to most countries, as our product is flat. International shipping quotes can be provided upon request by emailing care@rathmanandco.com.
White glove delivery is available for an additional cost.
May I have a color sample sent?
Yes! Email care@rathmanandco.com with the color sample you would like to receive. We are happy to send you a sample for $10.
What if my dog chews the kennel?
We cannot be liable for chewed up kennels. We have new doors available for purchase we do not offer replacement pieces for any other part of the kennel.
*We suggest spraying your kennel with a no chew dog spray such as bitter apple to help prevent your pups from chewing the wood.

Do you offer custom sized Doggie Dens?
No, but our sister company B&B Kustom Kennels does!
What is your cancellation/return policy?
All orders may be cancelled within 48 hours after the order is placed, or prior to shipping. Refunds will be applied within 10 business days. Once a product has shipped, you will need to file for a return rather than a cancellation. Please see our return policy (below) for details.
You may return an item for a refund of the merchandise total within 30 days of delivery by merely shipping the item back to us. Return credits are issued within 5-7 business days once the item is received and inspected. Please note, if you return an item, the return shipping and handling costs will be deducted from your total refund amount. We are happy to help you set-up a return shipment, but it will be taken out of your refund. We also charge a $150 restocking fee on all returns.
Damages
Customers must notify Rathman & Co within 48 hours after receiving the product if any damages occurred during shipping. It is the customer’s responsibility to open the package and document any and all defects with photos and a written statement sent via email.

Return Eligibility
Items must be unused and in the original packaging to qualify for a refund. Items that cannot be returned include: clearance products, gift certificates, personalized products, items marked “non-returnable or final sale” (clearly indicated on the sale page before placing the order), and products with pet damage.
Once we receive the product we will inspect it for scrapes, scratches, dents, or missing parts. If the product returns to us with undisclosed damages, additional fees may be deducted from your refund amount.
Do you ship internationally?
Please email us at care@rathmanandco.com if you’d like to get a Doggie Den® delivered internationally. Shipping costs range from $800-$2000, depending on location.
Do you offer wholesale prices for retailers?

Do you offer a warranty for your product?
Our manufacturer offers a one-year limited warranty for manufacturer defects, if they occur. We do not offer warranties or refunds for damages made by your pet. However, replacement pieces may be available upon request.
Colors
Brown
Featuring medium-brown tones, our Brown finish pairs well with furniture both darker and lighter than itself. A slightly cooler brown than our black finish, this stain plays on classic, yet relaxed influences.
Black
Though the darker of our two brown stain options, the black finish features warmer hues. Easily paired with black or honey-colored furniture, the black stain brings warmth to a space.
White
For those that appreciate a bright and clean aesthetic, our White color option is for you. Pure white from the top to the bottom, beautifully contrasted by our black rebar accents.
